Winter, Collecting and Restoring Antique Tractors, BF Avery Meeting

This Kracked Head Update originally was published in March of 2009 in the BF Avery Club newsletter Greetings from North Alabama, I hope this finds all of you and your families in good health and spirits.  Our weather around here has really been a roller coaster ride lately.  This past Monday the high was 18, with a wind chill of about 11, by Friday, the temperature was 68 and today (Sunday), the temp was 71 deg.  It was a nice spring day.  Of course, next week it’s suppose get back down into the middle fifties.  All in all, our winter has not been bad, so I can’t complain. 2007 BF Avery Summer Show

Ashland, OH - Our host for the Summer show in 2007 BF Avery Show was member Brian Young's hometown organization the Ashland County Yesteryear Machinery Club.  The summer show site facilities were superb and an excellent place to hold a tractor show.  The site was level, shaded with a nice paved parking lot near by.  The weather for the summer show weekend was really nice with a great breeze blowing through the trees. 2006 BF Avery Spring Show/Meeting

Chambersburg Pa - In March of 2006 the BF Avery Association held their Spring Show and meeting in conjunction with Minneapolis Moline Gold Collectors Club in Chambersburg, Pa. Bill Macinnis who was the President of the Minneapolis Moline Gold Collectors Club and also a member of the BF Avery club was the host for the meeting.  There were several tours of plants and farms in the surrounding area and as you can see in the pictures that even after spending a whole lot of time at each location there just wasn't enough hours in the day to see everything.  All of the BF Avery club members that … [Read more...]
